SKAL International Koh Samui

SKAL International Koh Samui is one of six SKAL Clubs currently operating in Thailand under the umbrella of SKAL International Thailand which is part of the SKAL International global network of travel and tourism professionals with some 13,000 members worldwide.

The club currently has close to 80 members representing the island’s significant travel and hospitality sector. The club organises monthly networking events including breakfasts, cocktails and dinners for its members, always emphasizing the mission of SKAL which is ‘Doing business among friends.’

Since 2020  SKAL Koh Samui was also the instigator of a nation-wide consumer-facing tourism campaign #RediscoverSamui which has subsequently been expanded to include #RediscoverThailand with each of the clubs launching their own #Rediscover…. website and social media campaigns aimed at boosting tourism to Thailand.

Sisters on Samui Foundation

Sisters on Samui Foundation is a non-profit NGO, with Charitable Foundation status.  We aim to support those in need on Koh Samui through fundraising, community outreach programs and regular social events.

Since 1997, we have contributed to the Samui community including projects with the Samui Hospital, the Samui Prison and Samui Rescue.  In 2021 we continue to provide much needed support to displaced workers and their families on Koh Samui who are suffering due to the sharp decline in international tourist arrivals due to COVID-19.

Our monthly Ladies Luncheons are a great way to get to know other women on the island, and also visit many of the wonderful restaurants and resorts on the island of Koh Samui.  Plus each time you join us for lunch, we make a contribution to our charitable causes.

Some of the proceeds of ‘Samui Summer Jazz’ will be donated to the Samui Community outreach program of Sisters on Samui.
